10 - EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
shall consist of a Mayor and a maximum of ten (10) Advisors.
a) Mayor:
- shall be a citizen of Argentina with more than twenty (21) years of age and over five (5) years of residence in the municipality, or an alien has opted for citizenship in Argentina, with over twenty-five (25) years of residence in the sovereign territory of the Nation, of which the last five (5) years have been in the municipality.
- His mandate will last for five (5) years.
- is elected directly by popular vote, considering the entire municipality as a single district.
- The position will be filled by whoever gets the simple majority of votes cast legitimately nonzero.
- No re-elected until two (2) future periods served as mayor and can not also be elected to any public office for the period immediately following that in which the office of Mayor.
- In the rest will be governed as it is today, considering the changes involving the operation of the system outlined here.
b) Consultant:
- shall be a citizen of Argentina with more than twenty (21) years of residence in the sovereign territory of the Nation, or by a foreigner who has opted for citizenship in Argentina, with over twenty-five (25 ) years of residence in the sovereign territory of the Nation.
- His mandate will last a maximum of five (5) years or until completion of the mandate of the Mayor, whichever comes first.
- are elected directly by the Mayor and emerge a list of thirty (30) candidates prepare and raise the City Council of Citizens.
- The list drawn up by the City Council Citizens must be substantiated with the background and suitability of applicants for the post of Adviser.
- After having served as Advisor, having given up the same or has been legally deposed by the Mayor, can not occupy the same position again until two (2) periods after that in which he was advisor and can not also be elected as Mayor for the period immediately following the served as Adviser.
- The office of Chief Advisor will occupy one is elected Advisory by their peers as such and a simple majority vote.
